ok this is the necklace that does the most with the least. irregular baroque pearl beads in three sizes — small, medium, what i'd call 'pear-shaped and dramatic' — hanging off an antique-silver chain in a soft layered cascade. it's the kind of piece that looks simple from a distance but reveals itself when someone gets closer. i wore it over a white linen shirt and instantly felt more pulled together. the pearls look real, the chain has a nice weight, the whole thing reads 'i have good taste and didn't try very hard.' under ten dollars. i'm impressed with myself for finding this one, honestly.
