Hat Floor Lamp

a tall arched floor lamp with this little hat-like shade at the end — slim, sculptural, almost a piece of art before you even turn it on. the curve is what makes it: it leans over a sofa or a reading chair like it’s about to whisper a good idea. the light is warm without being yellow, the silhouette is gorgeous against a blank wall. I keep wanting to put one in every room.
